Granite Markers

Many other monument retailers and cemeteries out-source the most important part of the process-the actual carving of the memorial. They never see the granite being used and have no quality control. Here at Troost, we design and manufacture our memorials right on the premises, assuring the highest levels of quality and customer service. We have hundreds of designs to choose from or our talented staff members can assist you should you have a special design in mind.

Memorials come in a variety of shapes and colors. There are many different sizes, shapes, and colors of granite memorials. They can be flush to the ground (lawn level), slightly pitched (bevel), slanted (slant), or an upright monument which is usually a tablet on a base. We also offer mausoleums , benches and special memorials for cremains . In choosing a memorial, there are several important decisions that you will need to make. Lawn Level Markers

This type of marker is level with the ground and usually measures 4" thick. Some cemeteries only allow these types of markers. Please contact us for detailed information. Lawn Level Markers can be made of granite, bronze, or bronze with a granite base. Granite lawn level markers can be made in a variety of colors of granite. The single-grave granite lawn level markers are priced from $605.

Lawn Level Markers For Infants and Children

Our Lawn Level Baby Markers are available in many lovely, creative designs and colors of granite. You have the option to design a lawn level, bevel, or slant granite baby marker. Some cemeteries may have specific requirements for baby markers, so please call us for more information. Prices for Lawn Level Baby Markers are based on size, style, color, and design, beginning at $545.

Double Lawn Level Markers

Many cemeteries allow a double marker to cover two graves. These markers are referred to as "Double Markers." Peter Troost Monument Company offers a wide variety of designs and colors for these markers. Double markers can be made as lawn level, bevel or a slant. The Lawn Level Double Markers start from $875 and increase in price depending on the size and color of granite.

Bevel Top Markers

Bevel Top Markers are slanted with a 2" pitch so that the back of the marker is slightly higher than the front of the marker. They can be made in a variety of colors of granite. Some cemeteries do not allow markers of this type. Prices for a single bevel marker start at $785 and companion bevel markers start at $1270.

Slant Face Markers

There are many variations of this memorial available. For example, the top can be cut straight across, rounded or in the serpentine shape shown. This type of memorial may be used to mark a single grave or two graves. Individual slant style markers start at just $920.

Veterans' Markers

Veteran's markers are issued from the United States government. Peter Troost Monument Company will work with a family to coordinate the installation of these markers. We also specialize in designing companion markers for the spouse of a Veteran. Please contact us for more information.
