The Cox mausoleum represents a powerful statement of beauty and refinement combined with durability and strength. It's grand, neoclassical design is filled with intricate, customized features that represent the vision and wishes of the Cox family. This mausoleum is fronted by four solid Cold Spring Black granite columns with ornately sculpted Corinthian column capitals. Most of the structure is built with polished Royal Sable granite. It contains two crypts in the back and also has space for below-ground burials around the structure.
The five custom-ordered, stained-glass windows create a stunning visual effect. The largest, most dramatic window features the Holy Family. Installed in the back, it is the first visual contact when people enter the solid bronze entrance door. It blazes with rich colors that fill the room when the sun is strong.
