The Maka Monument is created from a beautiful, dark-brown mahonany-colored granite that compliments the bronze statue of Mary and Jesus. Note how the tablets frame the statue and draw your eyes to it. The vases are also designed to match the shape of the tablet, with curved lines starting low and projecting up and outward. They are intended to create an effect similar to a flower as it is opening up.
