Peter Troost Monument Company has always believed in helping those less fortunate and giving back to the communities that have helped us be successful for all these years. It is in this spirit that the company is proud to support a number of local organizations who work mostly to providing children’s services, healthcare and education. Perhaps your family or someone you know has benefitted from the services offered by these outstanding groups:
YMCA
Boys and Girls Club of Bellwood
Elmhurst Hospital
Proviso West High School
Elmhurst College Scholarship Fund
Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists
We are proud of our philanthropic record and felt it was important for you to know we practice social responsibility and invest in the communities we serve.
The Peter Troost Monument Company Memorial Scholarship was established in 1999 for students of Proviso West High School. This high school is the public high school for residents of Hillside, Illinois, and the surrounding communities. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide monetary assistance to Proviso students who would like to attend college but might not have the financial ability to do so. These grants are awarded on the basis of financial need rather than scholastic achievement, although attributes such as work ethic, sense of responsibility, and citizenship are also important considerations.
